“Sneer”
He stared at him with an angry eye
Oh how he wished that man would die
“Trek”
For many miles the cat trudged
His clean fur coat with mud now smudged
“Dwindling”
The poor light bulb sighed
No one turned him off, so he slowly dimmed until he died
“Dispatch”
To you this precious dictionary I will send
Perhaps there are some words to you it will lend
“Varnished”
The spotless, sparkling banister
Was as clean as a shiny metallic canister!
“Inconsolable”
Her unstoppable tears flooded down
As her cheery face turned into a frown
“Grimace”
The doctor’s face was crumpled cellophane
As he stared at the boy who fell off a fracking crane
